Portraiture at Disney’s Blackrock Studio
Here are a selection of images from the recent Portraiture & Facial Anatomy course that I ran at Disney’s Blackrock Studio. The course was an amazing success, everyone leaving excited about their new experiences with portraiture. The culminating exercise of the course is a forensic reconstruction where each artist gets a cast skull over which they reconstruct a face. The exercise evolved over 9 hours, the images below show a bit of the process.
